Fendi is a well-known Italian brand, famous for its authentic handbags. It was started in 1925 by Edoardo and Adele Fendi, as a small shop in Rome. The couple started with fur items and fine leather goods and designed them into stylish handbags, which slowly became famous all over Italy and then the whole world.

Fendi handbags are adored by many women for their beauty, style and attention to detail. They are available in various styles and colors. The most popular is the Fendi baguette, which was launched in 1997. It was made famous on the TV Show “Sex and the City”, after Carrie Bradshaw made the famous line “I’m homeless! I’ll be a bag lady. A Fendi bag lady, but a bag lady!”. This exploded the Fendi baguette into a much sought after fashion item, an “it” bag, by women around the world.

Another popular handbag is the very stylish Fendi Hobo purse. These bags have Fendi’s signature Zucchino Jacquard Fabric, a main compartment with an overlapping magnetic emblem buckle and a small internal pocket, highlighting the Fendi symbol on the metal plate. This lovely bag is a perfect companion for a night out.

Depending on which one you buy, a Fendi handbag can cost anywhere from $175 to more than $1000. What makes them so worth the price is Fendi’s long-standing reputation of making elegant, distinctive, high-quality handbags that always seem to be ahead of the fashion curve. Also, being so versatile, a Fendi handbag (like the Fendi Hobo) can be worn with style to virtually any occasion.

Fendi handbags, like the Fendi Hobo or baguette, are sold all over the world, but can easily be found through many online stores. Be careful though, as Fendi handbags are so famous that they are one of the most notoriously replicated bags. Make sure that any Fendi bag you buy comes with the authenticity card.

We hear a lot about “hobo bags” these days, but what exactly are they?

Certainly, the word “hobo” does not sound too appealing. At first, it can sort of seem like an oxymoron to hear the term Fendi Hobo.

But a hobo bag does not mean what the connotation might imply. Rather, it refers to the look of the bags that “hobos” always tie to the end of a stick, as we see in old movies and cartoons.

In fact, now that I think about it, handbags definitely have a lot of weird names. We hear about the Fendi Baguette, the Fendi Zucchino, the Fendi Brown Zucca, or the Fendi Hobo Chef Bag??

Maybe the names do raise a eyebrows, but there are other reasons why Fendi handbags raise eyebrows — and we all know what that is…

But let’s get back to hobo bags.

Hobo bags are typically larger than your average handbag. They are usually made of leather (the good ones at least), and have a sort of crescent-shape that sags when being worn.

These kinds of bags are best known for being very “functional” — i.e. you can carry a lot!

But where you would normally have to suffer in the style department to gain some functionality, higher-end hobo bags like the Fendi Hobo do not sacrifice their elegance.

It’s that blend of having lots of space (i.e. having a handbag that can store more than just your cellphone :-p), while still having a bag that is quite stylish.

That’s why I personally love the Fendi Hobo bag. It’s like a perfect marriage between style and versatility. I would highly recommend them to anyone in the market for a new handbag.
